PT LIB’s Response to the Riot that Cause Support Persita Killed
The second round of League Two match in Group B between Persita Tangerang against PSMS Medan at Mini Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor regency, West Java, Wednesday (11/10/2017), ended in riot.
PT New Indonesia League (LIB) as the operator of the competition will take action related to that event.
The unrest occurred after PSMS reaped victory over Persita with a score of 1-0.
Chief Operation Officer of PT LIB, Tigor Shalom Boboy, said it must be careful about the unrest that occurred in the match Persita vs PSMS Medan.
He also knows that there is an agency that came to Mini Cibinong Stadium to support PSMS Medan.
“We are trying to be careful to respond to the match in Cibinong between Persita against PSMS which involves another agency,” said Tigor at PT LIB office, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday (10/12/2017).
After later understood how the incident, there could be a penalty sent.
However, the punishment must be in accordance with the rules already listed.
“We have to see it even though whatever it is in a football game there are parties who interfere with the game, we will certainly be legal but must comply with existing regulations,” said Tigor.
Due to the clash, dozens of Persita supporters must undergo treatment at RS Cibinong.
In fact, one of Persita supporters, Banu, died on Thursday (12/10/2017), after receiving treatment at RS Cibinong.
